KINGSTON (Jamaica), Jan. 24
The •‘Renown” moved out of Kingston Harbour early yesterday morning. The departure was far simpler than, tho arrival. The salutes from the warships barely disturbed the Sabbath quiet. Crowds watched from tho shore, and an ultimate touch of enthusiasm and cheering whs lent to tho occasion by a group of young negroes on the beach at Port Royal, whence tho shore battery fired a last salute.
The Moral party attended church in tho forecastle during the morning. This owing to unpleasant weather conditions, lmd to ha a standing service, no seat being possible.
During the visit a full sports programme was conducted, including a Soccer match, which was lost; and _ a water polo match and a relay swim, which both were won by tli.c Renown. The ship’s marines boat tho army light weight tea n in a tug-of-war. Tho men and officers of the Renown also joined in iootball and cricket matches between the Navy and the Army.
