FLOODS IN QUEENSLAND. (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, January 25. Further heavy rain has caused the cancellation of all northern trains. Burdekin and Herbert rivers are Hooded, while reports practically from all uie southern centres, state flood conditions prevail. Rain is sull falling with every indication of continuing. ' Three drownings so far are reported. The town of Nanibottr is isolated, surrounded by flood waters. Details are meagre and all communications with the flooded districts arc disorganised. AN INQUEST. MELBOURNE, January 25. At the inquest on Eileen Clarke (cabled on 14th) th Coroner returned an open verdict.
