Severe injuries were received by Unnli .Maekie, aged ten. who was gored by a bull at Cashmere on Friday morn-, ing. The girl, who is a daughter of Miami Mrs Grant Maekie. sustained a broken collarbone and laceration of the body and left arm. The bull was in a field near the girl's home. It is thought the animal turned on her and started piercing her with his horns. Hut for the fact that the hull was tethered to a chain, the girl would have been killed.
