Dr Marx has been busy all day on deavouring to form a Cabinet fron the Middle Parties, with the support of the Socialists.
It is understood that the Socialists insist that Dr Marx shall drop the stormy petrel, Herr dossier, who has been eleven times Minister of Defence, and who was recently prominent in connection with tihe (disclosures regarding the importation of arms into Germain- and Russia.

disarmament proposals are not acceptable. The breakdown of the negotiations is not expected, however, as the Committee will probably seek moOificntions of Germany’s offer, particularly the destruction of the Fortress of Glooati. and a fuller guarantee that the other fortresses will he for purely defensive nurposes.
