MYSTERY OK HEAD WOUND. LONDON. November 1. At an inquest at Newmarket last evening on John Plack, aged o>- a small-holder of Lakenheath. win. died on Saturday, the medical evidence was that death was due to meningitis as a result of a severe wound received on August 24. It was stated that when the wound was examined and stitched at Lakenheath on August 24 it was clean, with no gravel or dust in it and quite consistent with the effect of a severe blow.
