(From A Correspondent.) OKURU. Jan. 7. The Okuru patient carried overland last week arrived safely in Hokitika and is sU'l under medical observation. The increasing sickness amongst residents has been the prime mover in the definite intention of no fewer than five families and two bachelors leaving the district during the next few months. A serious position will thus arise.
