In this picture Hughes takes ((he part of a wealthy young racehorse owner. Miss Astor is a young American girl who lias been betrothed by her lather to an Austrian nobleman, hut. who is deeply in love with Hughes. One of the most beautiful love scenes in the picture takes place in the saddle room of Hughes’ racing sthblo in New Orleans. The supporting cast includes Frank Morgan, Jed Prouty, Jack Raymond, Antrim Short. Lorna Din-con and George Neville. Director George Arehainl>aud handled the megaphone. Here is a story of life—of love—of intrigue. With the racecourse for its background, “The. Scarlet Saint” provides a succession of real thrills, and a love tale that will linger. A topical and comedy complete sthe display to-night. On Wednesday popular Buck Jones will appear in his latest. Fox western drama “The Cowboy and the Countess.” On Thursday a Master drama “The Clean Heart” by the author of “II Winter Comes” staring Percy Marmont and Marguerite Do La Motto.
