Mr Runciman, the leading sliipoAvner, in an article in “The Compendium ” says that he regards the present shipping prospects as being brighter than those of a year ago. He points out that shipments that have been delayed for nine months must be made pretty soon, including three million tons of Australian grain, which, combined Avith othdr forces, will possibly give the trade a new start.
