Australian—Salted 166 s to 172 s per cwt (Is s. : |d to Is OJd per lb), unsalted 172 s to 176 s per cwt (Is Old to Is ORI per lb), other qualities I l ls to 164 s per cwt (Is 3RI to Is SRI per It). Argentine—Unsalted 158 sto 162 s per cwt (Is 1 (<1 to Is old per lb', other qualities 140 s to 156 s per cwt (Is 3d to Is ltd per lb). Danish—lß4s to 186 s per cwt (Is 7RI per lb). CHEESE. The colonial market is steady. Offieial quotations are: English finest fanners’ 108 s to Ill’s per cwt (11 Id to Is per lb). Canadian Finest coloured mid white 94s to 98s per cwt (Kid to lOld per ib). New Zealand—Coloured and white 93s to 94s per cwt (9,(1 to lOd per lb). Control Board minimum prices are:— Finest 04s per cwt (lOd per lb), first grade 93s per cwt i.9fjd per lb). Australian-—Coloured 93s per cwt (bj-d per lb), white 91s per cwt (lOd per lb). A shipment of New Zealand produce arrived this week by s.s. Ruapehu. CASEIN. Present quotation French rennet €66. TALLOW. There was no auction sale this week. HFAIT’. Tine market is nuiel on account of the holiday. The Afanila market closed easy. “J ” grade November-.Tnn-uary shipments arc offering at €l7 Ids. Sisal market is slow, with value Tanganyika No. 1 nominally €4l 15s. New Zealand market is steady and fair. Janiinrv-Al.nrcli shipments sold at £36. high-points offered €37 10s. WOOL. The Bradford market is miiet but firrm in tone. Trices are the same as last quotation.
