If the university authorities and the other experts they propose to bring in lo aid them can now do anything to stem the tragic tide of cancer, they will have to thank in a big measure the community, and especially the school children and their parents for tlieir practical and loyal co-operation. J here has been no more magnificent response to a big public appeal in Sydney since the days of the war. FLOUR REDUCED. SYDNEY. January 5. The Flour Mill Owners’ Association have reduced the price of Hour by ten shillings per short ton to thirteen pounds.
