SOCCER. SYDNEY, Jan. 5. At the annual conference of the Australian Soccer Association, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Soutl Australia were represented. The executive was authorised to get in touch with several of the European countries, participating in the Olympic Games in 1928, with a view to arranging f ( or a tour of these countries prior to the ga mes.

Negotiations will, ho opened with Scotland and Canada in regard to their touring Australia in 1928. It was resolved to endeavour to secure a better understanding with the New Zealand controllers regarding the general operations of the governing bodies in the Dominion and Australia, and also to invite a Now Zealand team to tour Australia in 1927. if the Canadian tour of the Dominion fails to materialise. •
