Tlio Otago v. Auckland Plunket Shield match was resumed to-day in fine waUther. Auckland (2 for 212) batted nearly all day, their innings closing lor 539. Continuing their second innings today in the Plunket Shield match, Wellington was dismissed for 308 (Ihillings not out Go). Victoria seems in a fair way to add another shuttering victory to tier Sheffield Shield achievements this season. The weather was line and the wicket good. Hendry resumed his overnight innings with Love. Both batted carefully, Love’s rims coming very slowly.
