The Rimu Dderge washed up on New Year’s Eve, for the very substanial return of 1201) <>zs lor 16 days work. "I his is a splendid return to wind up the Old Year with, and had been confidently looked forward to as it was known tho ground the dredge was working through bad given promise of a substantial return when the prospecting was being carried out. It is gratifying to know that the promise has been fulfilled and is only another instance of the great care given to the prospecting in the first instance and its reliability as to the contents of the ground.
