The new trouble is the outcome of a cmicus decision to set up a Parliamentary inquiry, in opposition to the Premier’s desire for a Royal Commission. A crisis is predicted in some quarters. William Alilvain and Janies Hargreaves, driver and guard respectively of the train in the Caulfield smash on May 26th, were to-day acquitted on charges of manslaughter.
