N.SAV. POLITICS. SYDNEY, Sept. 28. In the New South Wales. Assembly Mr Bavin, Lender of the Opposition’s censure motion against the Government was postponed until a motion by Doctor Evatt for the appointment of a Select Committee to inquire into the recent bribery charges was dealt 'V’+b The motion was carried after a debate. A committee consisting of an equal number of Nationalists and Ministerialists was appointed. Mr Bavin then moved his censure motion to the .effect' that the Government did not possess the confidence of the House. The Opposition Leader bitterly attacked Mr Lang (the Premier). He characterised Air Lang as “a political Blondin’’ who had spent all his time on the tight rope trying to maintain his balance. “Then,’ 1 Mr Bavin concluded, “the Government of the country descended into a d6g fight,”
