A message from Betlielam, Pennsylvania, states that at least nine were killed and thirty-five were injured today when the “Scranton Flyer” ou the Jersey Central railway, crashed into a Lehigh Valley passenger train at the Buffalo to New York crossing there. GOVERNOR OF CANADA. OTTAAVA, Sept, 27. Thousands assembled in the streets leading to the Depot to farewell the Governor-General and Lady Byng, who took a train to-day for Quebec, to embark for England. Lord Byng’s last official act was to lay the altar cornerstone in the Alemoriat Chamber, Victory Tower, at Parliament Buildings at noon.
