The “ Daily Express’s ” Paris correspondent learns from Madrid that Count Romanones (ex-Premier ol Sapin) seat King Alfonso a manifesto demanding his abdication if he signs a decree for Director do Rivera convoking a national Parliament. The manifesto accuses King Alionso of having violated the Constitution, and declares that it would be in the best interests of the country ii he renounced the throne. The Censor has forbidden the publication of the manifesto throughout Spain, but copies are being circulated from hand to hand.
