Australia A N.Z. Cable Association.] N.S.W. SESSION. SYDNEY] Sept. 22. The State Parliamentary session opens to-day. At a pro-sessional meeting of the Nationalist Party, a vote of confidence in the leader, Mr Bavin was unanimously carried. It is understood that Mr Bavin will move a vote of censure on the Government at tbe earliest opportunity after the House meets. A CONFERENCE. MELBOURNE, Sept. 22. A conference between the Steamship Owners and representatives of the Senmen’s Union has not yet reached finality. It is understood that the Ship Owners are determined to insist on their rights of free selection of crews. It is unofficially reported that the chances of a satisfactory settlement are considered bright.
