NOTICES OF MOTION. 1. —The Chairman to move: “That the accounts presented for the month of August, ,1926, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance 'Committee; amounting to £ —, be passed for payment.” 2. —The Chairman to move: “That pursuant to the provisions of the regulation as to the use of motor lorries, Alfred John Sloss he appointed an Inspector finder tlio said regulations for the district of the County of “Westland.” 3. Tlio Chairman to move: “That George Morris. County motorman. John Frederick Pethig, of Boss, ho appointed additional examiners oT motor drivers for the County of Westland and interior Boroughs of Hokitika and Ross, as from the Ist. Sept. 1926.” 4. —The Chairman 'to move: “That the Overseer ho instructed to prepare plans and specifications for the expenditure of Government grants from the Public Works - Fund as soon as convenient, and when same lare approved, tenders be called for the works, without delay.” 5) The Chairman to move: “That a cordial invitation be extended to Their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of York, to include in the Dominion tour while in Now Zealand, a visit to South West-land, to view the scenic wonders of the district, including the Waiho Glacier and other outstanding features of the southern motor trip.” « mui—mm"w mi T.
