COB 11 AM TURNS UP. [Australia & N.Z. Cable Association.] - RANGOON, September 14. Cobham lias arrived here. DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERLD. (Received this day at 10.1-3 a.m.) RANGOON, Sept, 13. Cobham states they encountered a heavy rainstorm on the flight from Penang to Victoria Point, on Sept. Bth. They landed at a lonely island and during a lull reached the village of lanoon. Some minor repairs to the machine were necessary owing to the severe buffeting received. They were delayed at Talioon till Thursday afternoon by the rain. They then proceeded to Victoria Point. They started for Rangoon on Friday morning but ran into the worst rain they ever experienced. They returned to Victoria Point where they lauded with considerable difficulty. They were compelled to remain there till Sept. 15th. when they reached Rangoon after flying through -lour hundred miles of rain.
