Mimic ai, Etiquette And Publicity Whatever the attitude of the British Medical Association may have been in time past- towards the publication in the lay press of articles signed by medical men, it lias shown a wise tolerance iu recent years. The position changes, however, when the name of a registered surgeon or physician is used for the purposes of commercial advertisement, and obviously there could be no relaxation of the rule against publicity in .such a case.
