WESTLAND SUB-UNION.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th

The Committee met at 8 p.m. Present—Messrs F. McGregor (Chairman), S. Moore, Cutbush, Stafford, Dowell, Breeze, Lawn and Heenan. Inangalnia Sub-Union notified acceptance of • challenge for'Dittman Shield, date to he arranged later.—Received. From a Westport team asking for a match for first Saturday in October with a junior team.—Received and agreed to, the Excelsior Club to be asked to provide a team. The Kokatalh Club team were declared the winners of the Junior knockout competition and holders of the Breeze Shield trophy for the year.

Accounts as scheduled were passed for payment. ft was resolved that a deputation consisting of Messrs Dowell, Breeze and Lawn, wait on the Borough Council with reference to matters affecting the Sub-Union.

It was resolved to challenge the West Coast Rugby Union juniors for a match next Saturday. Tt was resolved that the ten per cent of gate money be passed for payment to the Borough Council.
