Durand, outlaw of tho Band Lands, is wanted by Clem Allison sheriff. On a journey into tho desert. Durand comes to the cabin of Molly Gore, where tho ginl is struggling with a decrepit old horse. When Durand helps her, he is introduced to Molly’s invalid father, and hands him iu poster in answer to the old man’s question for his name. Durand is ordered away, lmt lie manages to leave some notes for the girl as a : ‘loan.” In a nearby town a family of emigrants arrive in a covered wagon and are induced to carry a gold shipment to the railroad. Pete Gorsdn gets wind of the subterfuge, and sets upon the wagon killing all hut the threo children. Durand finds the ruins of the wagon, and the dead bodies, which tho children are guarding. Jimmy, tho eldest, shows Durand where tho gold is hidden, and lie sots out with the box and the children to place them in the care of Molly Gore. The gold still remains ’at the cabin, and Durand is held up by the posse which has been posted near the house. Tie is freed by Jimmy, and flees towards Oro Grande with the gold to deliver to Boyd, the owner. In town, Pete Garsnn’s gang is surprised in its robbery attempt, and in fleeing for safety, Peto ft arson takes Boyd’s daughter and holds her las a shield against his pursuers’ bullets, ns he darts into the opening of the mine. Durand arrives on the scene and after handing over the gold, volunteers to go. after Garsop. TTsing sheet, iron as a shield, he enters the mine mouth and beats Oarson into submission, dragging him out to ffu'c Boyd and tho crowd. When Durand gets Garson outside, tho lattei confesses it was he who held up tho wagon and killed the occupants—and under further prodding by Durand, Allison is revealed as his accomplice. Molly and Durand are re-united and his u;rune cleared. A good comedy and topical will also be shown. Patrons are reminded that the wonderful picture “The \\ Into Sister will be shown at tho Princess Theatre on Monday 20th, and Tuesday 21st.
