EVERYBODYS PSCIURES. “SINN El’S IX SILK.'’—TO-XICIHT. The gland rejuvenation idea, is brought to the screen in a brightly, written and produced Metro-Goldwyn production, ‘•.Sinners in Silk,” directed by Hobart Henley, which comes to the Princess Theatre to-night (Saturday). The featured players -are Adolphe Menjou, Eleanor Boardman and Conrad Xagel. and many other wifil-kuown names appear in the east. It is Menjou, as Arthur Merrill in the story, who has his glands replaced, and what a wonderful difference it makes! The cynical man of the world again looks on life with the fresh eyes of youth, and almost immediately a beautiful young girl arrests bis roving fancy. But this girl is affianced to another. ■lt is tbe peculiar twist given to the life threads of these two men which lifts the story to its unusual and tensely interesting climax. Picture lovers are to be surprised in Eleanor Boardman. She is known as a line actress, but she ddligbts most in “Sinners in Silk’” with a new mischievousness that matches (perfectly with her beauty 1 and charm. Conrad Xagel is a boy is.®, hero, fittingly completing a fine trio. There is a particularly interesting sequence towards the end of the picture in which Mcnjou displays the attributes of a complete screen villain for the benefit of Eleanor Boardiman, wlio cannot be sure whether he is fooling or serious. However, the game turns on Men,ioll, and it is he who is taught a lesson, as well as the girl. “Sinners in Silk” is an hour’s perfect entertainment.
