The police are investigating an amazing story which alleges Elino Borg, the noted runner, and member of the Communist Workers’ Sports Federation, fias transferred allegiance to the Bourgeois Club in order to enter a race in which Nurmi is competing. Borg failed to appear and it is alleged he had been threatened with death if he participated in Bourgeois matches.
