Gas has come to be regarded as the modern necessity of tho times. This is so because it is such a master servant in and about tho household. Gas lias been so harnessed nowadays that it is possible to eliminate coal altogether in directing the daily roilin' of the house.
Gas appliances are so many and varied in these times, that cooking, heating, and all washing work about tho home can be done by gas. It lias been well said that gas is coal with the bother taken out. Gas of course is also efficient and economical, as well as being hygienic. There are many means by which gas can bo used about the home. A g.is ring will provide the early breakfast or late supper, or d<> any quick service during the day when heat is required. Gas cookers are time and money saving, as well as worry saving, for the heat can lie regulated to a nicety and cooked to a turn within a given time. Gas coppers are labour saving on washing day and all other times when used, being so quick and reliable, and give .no trouble. Gas geysers arc specially handy for hot baths or hot water services. Gas irons are most dependable, and arc clean and economical. Tndecd the special virtues ot gas appliances arc cheapness, cleanliness and they are economical.
