NEAA 7 YORK, September 6. -Miss Mary K. Browne, the former national tennis champion and captain ot the American team that visited England and France this season, has announced her intention to sign a contract to play professional tennis for Mr (•'. C. Pyle, who is managing Mdllo Lenglen’s tour of the United States Miss Browne lias volunteered no details about her contract, but it- is understood that she was offered 2AOO dollars when she signed, with a percentage of the gate receipts, and also other flat sums depending on the success of Mr Pyle’s venture. Mr Pyle has confirmed Miss Browne’s statement.
