At yesterday’s Aruhurn sale an entry of 00 bead, of cattle were submitted to competition, the quality of which was equal to previous vardings. Competition was keen and beef made an appreciable increase per hundred for the fixture. Ox making 36s to 40s, heifer from 30s to 37s Gd and cow beef from 33s to 335. Messrs AV. Jeffries and Co .sold as follows:—On account of Messrs Sullivan Bros.. 3 bullocks at £l6, 6 at £ls 7s fid, 2 at £ls 15s, 5 at £l4 7s fid, 5 at £l3 17s fid, 2 at £l3 17s 6d, 2 at £l3 15s, 1 at £ls 7s Gd, 2 at £l3 ios, 3 at £l3 ss, 2 at £l3 2s Gd, 2 at. £l2 12s Gd, 1 heifer at £lO 12s Gd, 1 at £lO 2s Gd, 1 at £lO, 3 at £9 15s, 3 at £9 12s Gd, 8 at £9 ss, 2 at £9 2s Gd, 1 cow at £lO ss, 1 at £7 7s Gd. ]. at £6 17s Gd. M. HOUSTON AND CO.’S REPORT. Our entry at the above sale yesterday consisted of 49 head of fat cattle, which were submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was good throughout the sale at prices very much oil a par with those of the previous sale. Ox beef realised 40s to 42s per hundred and cow beef from 30 s to 355. AA’e sold as follows:—On account of Messrs F. G.
