A curious message from Madrid says that a new party named the Patriotic Union has asked the Director, Do Rivera to authorise the holding of a plebiscite on November lltli, in order to give tha country an opportunity of voting confidence in the Government, and to express its desire for the convocation of a National Legislative Assembly. The Director has acceded to the request.
