Tilden and Chlipin defeated James Davies and Phil Noer 6-3, 0-4 , 0-4. At Brookline Johnston and Cheadler defeated Lacoste and Borotra o—o, o—l, 6-3, 6—2. Mixed Doubles: Sarah Palfrey and Howard Longley and Edith Signourcy ami Phil Neer won in the first round.
