Hendry had halted eighty-five minutes am! bit fourteen lours. Bardsley was sound but slow, while Grcgoiy played his usual vigorous game, and hit two sixes. Larwood’s howling was magnificent. He maintained a consistent length and demanded constant watching. England’s innings o]H.Mied in a poor light. Gregory with the wind at his back bowled at a great pace.
