The Treston Challenge Shield, competed for for the first time, was wrest!ed from Napier by AA’ellington. The results wore:— Bantams.—F. Taylor (Auckland) beat N. Kiely (Greymoutli). Flyweights.—S. Burton (Grevmnuth) boat N. Ganimick (Auckland). This pair gave a bright exhibition and were popular with the onlookers. Feathers.—.l. T.eekio (Otago) beat Donovan (New Plymouth). Lightweights.—E. Morgan (AWlting ton) beat I.i. Phillips (Hastings). AA'cfli or weights.—J. Nelson (Greymouth) bent Li Pousse (Auckland): Middlewciglils.— A. Cleverley (AAellington) beat C. Pneock (Auckland). Light-Heavyweights—G. F.vatt CAVetlington) beat A. Hogg (Auckland). Heavyweights.—S. Lewis (AAairoa) beat. Hooper (AA'ePington).
