PEKING, Aug. 23. The river steamer “Mansing” was pirated during its voyage from Malojvoliow to the -Sunning district. The Chinese captain and crew, at the point of the revolver, steered to Wpngchu, where all the passengers, the entire compradore staff, andean armed gwrd of eight Chinese were carried off and made prisoners. The pirates seized the cargo and the passengers’ belongings. The majority of the passengers, numbering over one hundred, were Chinese returning from America.
