[Australia it N.Z. Cable Association.] LEAGUE OF NATIONS. LONDON, Aug. 22. The “Morning Post's” Geneva correspondent states: reliable circles that Dir S. Baldwin will visit Geneva from Aix-les-Bains to witness Germany’s entry to the League of Nations for which the preliminary plans are almost completed. Sixty extra rooms are being hurriedly fitted out at tho Secretariat to accommodate new members of the League staff. CENTRAL AMERICAN REVOLT. MANAGUA, Aug. 20. The mayor and several non-coinbat-ants are reported killed. Rebels evacuated and burned part of, Quezalguaquo including the largest distillery in Nicaragua. Government forces are being conscripted. There are no exemptions. They re-occupied Sail Marcos after a sharp skirmish. The rebel losses are said to be severe. MANAGUA, Aug. 21. Revolutionists were badly beaten at Tainariildo, a village 011 tho Pacific Coast. Many were killed and wounded, and others are in flight. They abandoned ten machine guns, seven hundred rifles, half a million rounds of ammunition and other supplies.
