A Real Dictator . It is the declared intention of the Fascist lender to mould Italy into the leading industrial nation of the world by making strikes impossible. The whole series of super-Fascist laws are regarded as the pillars of the new order. By them the Dictator’s powers are extended, secret societies are suppressed, elective local government is abolished in 5000 municipalities, the Press is regulated, and opponents of Fascism are liable to lx: deprived of citizenship and property.
