WESTLAND COMPETITIONS
COMMENCING MONDAY. The Inaugural Competitions of the Westland Society will begin on Alonday. A full day will he observed, tho forenoon session being from 10 a.in. to 1 p.m. ; the afternoon from 1.30 to 5,20 p.m.; and the evening session from 7.30 p.m. to conclusion. On Tuesday a start will ho made at, the Town Hall with tho elocutionary and musical items at 9.30 a.ill. to 12.45 p.m. The afternoon will be from 1.30 to 5.30 p.m. At tho Princess Theatre there will he a forenoon session for the dancing commencing at 10 ia.m., and an afternoon session commencing at 1 2 p.m. The demonstration by all the prize winners will take place oil Tuesday night at the Princess Theatre, commencing at 7.30 o’clock. All competitors must attend punctually pud be present a quarter of an hour before appearance so as to be present when the drawing for the order of appearance takes place. "With the hearty assistance of the competitors in punctual appearance, a very successful competitions should be held.
