HINDU FINED. ROTORUA, August 17. Kangi Rangi Nuri, a Hindu, was charged at the Magistrate’s Court with supplying natives with liquor on the Murupara road. He was fined ia total of £l6, and £l6 costs on four charges. The two natives supplied were women. Mr K'enrick, S. M., said there was not evidence to show illicit trade. The matter aroused much local interest.
