Tho annual report presented by the Federal Viticultural Council of Australia, referring to export of Austnilin,u wine to New Zealand, says the Commonwealth Wine Export Bounty Act had a detrimental effect on the wine industry there, as the New Zealand Government threatened to impose a dumping duty, unless payment of the bounty ceased. Tho A iticultunl Council agreed that bounty on sweet wines exported to Now Zealand should bo discontinued, ono condition being that tho Federal Government should rfllow a. refund of Is 6d of excise duty paid on all fortified wine complying with the provisions of the AA ine Export Bounty Act, and exported to New Zealand
