An application for a hammer throwing record which Merchant established nt AVcs’.ingtqji, which was rejected at the llohart conference, was reconsidered, and was passed. It was decided to ask the New Zealand Association, if possible, to hold the next Australasian championships in December or early in January. - A motion was.passed asking the Australasian Union, if possible, to aiiange fur a tour of overseas athletes in the coming season.

It was decided to include a running hop-step-aiid-jump event in the championship programme. It was decided to request tlie English Amateur Athletic Association to set up a small body in England to establish a system of British Empire records. .

The reinstatement rules were amended to provide ’that any case may he declared special by a three-fourths special vote of an association, by reason of any unusual or exceptional circumstances, and may bo referred to the Executive of the Union, which shad have power either to reinstate, or to postpone, or reject an application oil such terms as the Union thinks fit. A minor motion brought forward by New Zealand was carried.
