SALE OF THE INGA
SYDNEY. Aug. 13
The steamer Inga has ben purchased by the Patrick Company for the Sydncy-Mclbourno cargo service.
Tho Inga (R. Lamb and Co.), was a well-known trader from Newcastle to New Zealand. She is of IMS tons and was built in 1904.
DISORDERLY SCENES.

Disorderly scenes marked the arrival of Cobhnm.on completion of his flight. A crowd of fifteen thousand was waiting at the landing ground at Kssendon Aerodrome. As Cobham was landing the mob broke the cordon and rftn towards the machine. When Cobham unexpectedly turned towards the enclosure there was a frantic rush to get clear of the propcllor, and many escaped narrowly. Slight damage was done to the machine and the temporary broadcasting plant was trampled under foot. The police available were quite inadequate to maintain order. Dozens of women and children were crushed in the crowd and had to be treated at the ambulance station. The official welcoming party were swept away and Cobham bad to be rescued by the' air force men.
