JAPANESE QUAKES. (Received this day at 12.30 p.m.T TOKIO, August 12. Subterranean rumblings in Ishikawa Province heralded huge slides, affecting ten thousand acres mostly mountainous country, but including the destruction of a considerable area of rice. No casualties are reported. The rumblings nre continuing.
