EVERYBODYS PICTURES. "THE BRIDGE OF SIGHS.” TO-NIGHT. There’s a saying that wo I;now not what Fate hath in store for ns. Never was this, better exemplified than in the east of tho movie “extra” who was called to take part in tho prison hospital scenes of "The Bridge of Sighs,” the "Warner “Classic of tho Screen” from the story by Charles Iv. Harris, the famous song writer. Alec Francis plays the role in this picture of a. man who is suffering imprisonment for the sins of another. When Director Phil Rosen called for an extra man, he was found sitting in a corner of tho sot with his chin cupped in his hands, his eyes almost- closed and a lieart-sick expression on his face. On inquiry it was found that the extra player once had the same experience as the scene being enacted before him, but in real life, for be had served a term in prison. though not guilty. Dorothy Wackailt has the featured role in this production which Phil Rosen directed. She is supported hv Creighton Halo. Alec B. Francis. Richard Tucker. Ralph Lewis and others. The “Bridge of Sighs” will he seen at the Princess Theatre to-night together with a good comedy and further chapters of serial.
