In the Second Pack during the past week Second K. Hanrahan and Cub AColes have qualified as One Star Cubs, while E. Browne has been enrolled as a Tcnderpad. The entertainment which this Pack and Troop have had in preparation so long will he given next Week , and although rehearsals have been iiitcrferred with badly by sickness, those who have kept lit have been working hard, and the programme of over a dozen items should 'surprise those who arc able to he iire.sent.
The following week will see the Scouts off to Awatuna for a few days in camn, while the second week of the school holidays has been reserved for a snccial camp for those cubs who are about t:i “go up” into the Scout troop. With these events and the Troop's Third Birthday to ho celebrated in a few weeks’ time, all concerned are likely to be kept busy. The Second Park of Cubs are to have a who!? day out in the open this Sain relay if the weather allows, and with a full attendance, it is hoped to decide a number of Inter-Six and individual eliamjiionsliips in various directions "Inch have been in doubt for a long time.
