LONDON, Aug. 10. Tho Renown is now lying north of the Roy.'ff Jetty at Portsmouth, with patches of red paint relieving the navy grey, lliero are no signs of any preparation for the royal voyage. Indeed no definite intimation has yet reached the authorities at Portsmouth that she has been selected for the Duke of York’s tour.
Tho Renown is practically unaltered from tho condition wherein she returned with tho Prince of Wales, but it is estimated that sip* weeks in dock-yard hands woud suffice tn prepare tier for another royal trip. As tho arrangements sfrmd, the Re-
notvii is in on half commission, and is duo to complete her full crew by Scptenfber 2nd for service with the At'r» .Jnutic fleet. Thereafter she returns to Portsmouth for the crew’s Christmas leave.
