When tlio report of the Customs Committee, which disclosed the loss of large sums to the revenue through liquor smuggling to the United States, came before the Canadian House of Commons to-day for adoption, Mr Stevens Conservative member for Vancouer, moved an amedment censuring Mr. Boivin, the Minister of Customs, for certain acts in connection with the administration of Iris department. Mr. Stevens charged the Prime Minister, Air. Mackenzie King, with having been 'aware of the irregu.arities in the Customs Department a year ago and with taking no effective action to eliminate them.
