The Grand National Meeting began at Riccaiton in dull weather, large attendance and the course made for good going. •Hunters’ Hurdles— (3) Rang! Sarto 1. (2) Revel 2, (1) Birkenose 3. All started. Won by a head. Time 3.20. Trial Hurdles:—(2) Sayanora 1, (7) Uleaborg 2, (6) Ratline 3. Scr. Revel. Won by two lengths. Time 3.15 l-o. Cashmere Plate:—(6) Paper Boy 1, (3) Polio 2. (5) Sorotina 3. Scr. Assurance. Won by a length. Time 1.15 1-5. Jumpers Flat.—(3) Xgata q, (S ) Black Cruiser 2, (11) Crown Coin 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time 2.37 3-5.
