Tho Board of Control’s profits were £3904. which is £I2OO more than in the 1921 tour. TEAM FOR FIFTH TEST. LONDON, August 8. Tho English team for the fifth test is—Chapman (Kent) captain, Stevens Hobbs, Hendren, Sutcliffe, Woolley, Tate, Rhodes, Lanvood, Geary (Leicester), Brown (Hampshire). Tyldesley is twelfth man. The selectors regretfully accepted Carr’s resignation of the captaincy owing to ill-health.
