AMUSEMENTS.
EVERYBODYS PICTURES. REGINA LJJ DENNY—TO-NIGHT. “Where Was T?” the Universal-Jew-el starring Reginald Denny, which is now playing at the Princess Theatre, was heralded as the funniest thing Denny has ever done. “Where Was I?” has no weak points. It produces laughter, long hearty shouts of' unrestrained joy. Old ladies laugh and tears come. Young ladies laugh and their powder conies off. Young men laugh and their glossy hair becomes disarranged. Flappers squeal with joy and babies shriek, forgetting it is time for the milk bottle. It is a real picture full of comic incidents with a purpose of entertainment which is fully met in the showing. Denny gives the greatest performance of his career while tile other members of the cast contribute the utmost of their respective abilities. Pauline Garon is charming as the plotting woman while Marian Nixon is Switching as the fiancee tossed about by the tides of Fate. The performance of Chester Conklin, Lee Moran and Otis Harlan stand out as fine comedy. Tyrone Power, William H. Turner, Tom Lingham, Arthur Lake and James Corrigan uphold their parts admirably. Farther chapters of the serial which should have been shown on Saturday will be included in to-night’s programme, together with a good comedy.
