A hiatus is feared in the welcoming enthusiasm, ns the Govcrnr-General, the Prime Minister and many other Commonwealth representatives must make a; special trip to Fremantle, and ceremonies will then have to he repeated nearly two months later in Melbourne. Had the arrangements been left with the Commonwealth, the New Zealand tour would have occurred after the Australian festivities had finished.
