Beef.—iAi large yarding, but not too many for a double market as usual at this particular sale. There was a fairly large entry of show cattle, in fact too many for requirements, consequently with few exceptions tins class was hard to sell. Excluding this class of cattle the market showed little difference from last week, but was firm, considering the closing stages. The yarding was similar to the beef sale. Theso extra heavy sheep were hard to sell although three extra good weathers made £5. The balance of the yarding was of generally good quality with a preponderance of wethers. The market opened ,on a parity with last week and considering the sale was not. finished till after, seven o’clock the prices kep firm till the finish.
